Youth Conservation Corps

The Martin Luther King Jr., National Historic Site will be accepting applications March20, 2016 through May 13, 2016 for its Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) Program. The YCC is a summer employment program for young men and women ages 15 -18 and lasts for eight weeks. Six youth will be randomly selected to participate in the work-earn-learn program at a pay rate of $8.00 per hour. The start date is May 31, 2016 and the last day of work is July 22, 2016. Applicants must be US citizens and must be 15 years old by May 29, 2016, not over 19 years old by July 23, 2016. All program participants must obtain a valid work permit.
