A cell phone displaying the park app is against a background of park scenery. At right, text reads "20+ historic structures. 9 historic vehicles. 120 Hereford cattle grazing on 600 acres of ranch land. And only 1 app that puts it all at your fingertips.

Using the App

Depending on your provider, you may find limited cellular service in some locations of the park. In order to make use of the app while in the park, follow these simple steps before you arrive:

  1. Download the app.

  2. In the app, select the "Settings" option.

  3. Tap the choice "Download Offline Content."

  4. When in the park, and within a cell service or wi-fi area, select "Refresh Content" under "Settings," to get the latest alerts and calendar updates.

By doing this, most of the app content will be available for use in the park (the exceptions being alerts, calendar updates, and real-time updates—accessing those items before leaving service will at least keep that information in the app). Even without cellular service, the app will be able to share your location on the map and bring up all site content.

Download the App

The app is free and available on the App Store and on Google Play.
