As Lyndon B. Johnson said, "All the World is Welcome Here." Everyone is welcome here at the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park. The visitor center in Johnson City, including the restrooms, are accessible. Ranger tours of the Boyhood Home are accessible, as well as the Johnson Settlement trail.
The Junction School, cemetery, birthplace, and show barn are all accessible at the LBJ Ranch.
Service dogs are permitted on a leash throughout the park.
Accessible Ranger Programs
Ranger-led tours of the Lyndon Johnson Boyhood Home in Johnson City are acessible. A ramp in the back of the house provides access into the 1901 home.

Visitor Center in Johnson City
Reserved parking spaces are available with accessible walkways leading to the building. Accessible unisex restroom, sales displays, water fountain, and information desk.
Open captioning is provided for all four films.
Johnson Settlement
The Johnson Settlement trail is 1.0 miles with an elevation change of 59 feet. Average gradient is 1-2%, maximum gradient is 8%. Trail consists of crushed gravel and is considered accessible.
Trail can be accessed by parking at the NPS visitor center, or at the Event Center parking lot on W Main St. (US 290), across the street from the Chevron gas station.

Service Animals
Service Animals must be always under the control of its handler anywhere in the park, including buildings. Dogs that are not trained to perform tasks that mitigate the effects of a disability, including dogs that are used purely to provide comfort or emotional support ("therapy animals"), are considered pets. Entrance Fees and Passes
The Access Pass is a free lifetime entrance permit to all federal parks, monuments, and recreation areas. It also provides a 50% reduction of camping fees. The Access Pass is issued to United States residents who are permanently disabled. Access passes may be obtained at other National Park Service visitor centers or online. Since we are a fee free site, we do not have any passes. Find federal sites that do issue these passes.
Cell Service
Visitors should have no issue with cell service in both park units. AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile have full coverage. Wifi is available at both the NPS visitor center in Johnson City and the state park visitor center.

LBJ Ranch additional information
Please note, with the current Texas White House rehabilitation project, the Lockheed Jetstar and Texas White House are closed and inaccessible.
Access to the interior of the Lockheed Jetstar airplane is via staircase. Exhibit signage includes photos for visitors who are unable to climb the stairs.
