Founded in 2007, the Friends of LBJ National Historical Park is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting public support for the care, preservation, and educational opportunities of LBJ National Park. To help meet its mission, the Friends work in partnership with the National Park Service to provide educational and interpretive programs, plan and co-sponsor special events to raise funds used for worthy conservation and improvement projects that benefit the park, and foster partnerships between the park and regional businesses, organizations and institutions.
