Today, we had the amazing opportunity to meet with Dan Jackson, the Cultural Resources Manager. He takes care of the museum collections and works with partners, such as the state and tribal historic preservation offices, to make sure that all historic sites and cultural resources are preserved and interpreted appropriately. Like many of our staff members, Dan has always wanted to work for the National Parks. He believes that the National Park Service has a great mission and likes the variety of resources and landscapes it protects.
Dan further prepared us for our trek by showing us the Atlas of the Lewis and Clark Expedition! Thanks Dan!
