The National Park Service (NPS) intends to issue an updated prospectus soliciting for proposals in response to a business opportunity to provide commercial services that may include houseboat and boat rentals, moorage, retail, fuel sales, food and beverage sales, and related services at Keller Ferry and Seven Bays Marinas within Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area.
In preparation for the solicitation and due to the seasonality of the operation, the NPS is holding two one-day pre-solicitation site visits on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 and Thursday, September 6, 2012, to allow all interested parties to tour the concession facilities at both marinas and see the operations while fully open for the season.
If you are interested in attending either or both of the pre-solicitation site visits, you must RSVP to Kimberley Gagliolo via email at kim_gagliolo@nps.gov. Please include in your email the number of people who will be attending.
Each site visit will begin at 9am at the Keller Ferry Marina Store on August 8th and September 6. Please see address and directions below. We will then depart at 11:30 to travel to Seven Bays Marina and conduct a site visit from 1:30 to 3:30. There is limited food available at each site so please plan accordingly.
Keller Ferry Marina is located at 45751 State Route 21 N, Wilbur, Washington. From Highway 2 west of the town of Wilbur, exit north on to Highway 21. Continue right on Highway 21 and travel approximately 14 miles to the marina. From Highway 174, take the exit for Highway 21 approximately 20 miles east of Grand Coulee.
