Contact: Kim Gagliolo, (510) 817-1368 The National Park Service intends to issue a prospectus for proposals to provide marina operations including moorage, food and beverage service, houseboat and boat rentals at the Kettle Falls area within Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area. The Concession Contract between the National Park Service and the existing Concessioner expires on April 30, 2007. The Director, pusuant to 36 CFR Part 51, has determined that the existing Concessioner is NOT a preferred Offeror for the Contract to be awarded. The term of the new Concession Contract will be for ten (10) years. Any offer, including that of the existing Concessioner, must be received by the Concessions Program Manager, National Park Service, Pacific West Region, 1111 Jackson Street, Suite 700, Oakland, California 94607 no later than ninety (90) days from December 1, 2006 in order to be evaluated and considered for award of a Concession Contract. The prospectus will be issued on December 1, 2006, for a 90-day response period under the terms described in the prospectus, with proposals due on March 1, 2007, no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). There is a printing cost recovery charge of $50 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express or $40 per copy if picked up in person. Checks or money orders (no cash or credit accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service; and you must include a business address (no post office box) to receive a Federal Express package.
