Black Locust Invasive Tree Removal Plan

Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is seeking input on the draft Black Locust Invasive Tree Removal Plan concerning the treatment and removal of Black Locust trees in the area of the Old Kettle Falls town site. This is the first step in the planning process necessary to meet the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act.

The Park will be hosting an open house to discuss this plan and solicit input on the development of alternatives, from the public, on September 13, 2012 at the Kettle Falls American Legion meeting hall from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Please feel free to attend and participate in the development of this plan.
