By 12:00 pm, September 9th, 2015, Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area will open all campgrounds, boat ramps, and day-use areas at Snag Cove, Kamloops Island, and Kettle River in the North District of the park. Napoleon Bridge boat ramp will remain closed until September 11th to allow fire crews remove their equipment from the area. The National Park Service has continued these closures to ensure the highest level of safety for visitors and employees and for wildland firefighters to use as a staging area.
