At Lake Mead National Recreation Area, campgrounds and RV village parks are managed by the National Park Service and authorized concessionaires. Around Lake Mead, there are six campgrounds and four RV village parks. Find campground and RV park amenities and other information below.

Things to note:

• All NPS managed campsites must be reserved in advance.
• Lake Mohave Campgrounds and RV Parks are located south of the Hoover Dam.
• Temperatures usually surpass 100F (37C) degrees June-August. In May and September, daytime highs are around 90F (32C). October-April, temperatures are much cooler. Lows can dip to freezing temps December-February. The area averages 4 inches of rain per year.
