For kids of any age, Lake Mead welcomes all to become a Jr. Ranger! The program is designed to be done at the park. You can pick up the activity book and be sworn in at the visitor center between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. seven days/wk or at park headquarters M-F 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Unfortunately we are unable to mail books and badges to participants due to cost, too many badges getting lost in the mail, and a new issue with online resellers who try to get Jr. Ranger badges through fraudulent means. The visitor center is located 10 Lakeshore Drive and park headquarters is located at 601 Nevada Way. Both are in Boulder City, NV, 89005. The Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument Jr. Ranger book can also be picked up at Lake Mead.
