Love Lake Mead is about people coming together to care for a place we all treasure. From picking up litter along the shore to planting native plants and restoring favorite gathering spots, volunteers help keep the lake and desert landscapes clean, safe, and welcoming. It’s a way to give back, build community, and ensure Lake Mead stays beautiful for generations to come.

Sign up opportunities for the October 18th, 2025 Love Lake Mead Day event are coming soon. The October cleanup will focus on Government Wash. Specific projects for the upcoming October 18th are being planned.

April 19 - Trash Bash at Govt. Wash

Volunteers needed to help remove trash and other debris from the Government Wash area. Registration 8:30 a.m. Event 9 a.m. to noon.

April 22 - Plant Nursery (Event full)

Volunteers are needed to assist the Song Dog Nursery with weeding, cleaning flowerpots, and more. Registration: 8:30 a.m. Event: 9 - noon.

April 22 - Litter Cleanup

Help remove trash from a popular area of the park. Location to be determined. Registration: 8:30 a.m. Event: 9 - noon.

April 24 - Pearce Ferry Cleanup

Volunteers are needed to assist with a cleanup in the Meadview/Pearce Ferry area. Registration: 8:30 a.m. Event: 9 - noon Arizona Time.

April 24 - Beautify Boulder Beach

Help us spruce up Boulder Beach campground by raking leaves, cleaning firepits, and trim bushes. Registration: 8:30 a.m. Event: 9 - noon.
