Kobuk Valley National Park is one of the most remote national parks in the United States. There are no roads or maintained trails leading into the park, and no facilities once you're there. Most visitors arrive by small plane or boat. To plan your visit, contact a licensed commercial service providers for transportation options and availability.

Northwest Arctic Heritage Center in Kotzebue

The Northwest Arctic Heritage Center in Kotzebue is wheelchair accessible, and a wheelchair is available upon request. For all events or ranger-led programs hosted in the multipurpose room, assistive listening devices are available for visitors who are Deaf or hard of hearing. Visitors who need an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter should request this service at least 10 days in advance to allow time for scheduling.
