Kings Mountain National Military Park offers plenty to do for both the historian in you and the nature enthusiast alike.

Primary facilities in the visitor center are a thirty-minute live-action theater film, a museum combining informative text with weaponry;and a bookstore (operated by Eastern National) offering visitors publications and theme-related items for sale on the battle and the Revolutionary War. Bookstore hours are the same as the visitor center. Restrooms are located across the breezeway from the visitor center.

For the historian plan on spending at least 2.5 hours to take in all the history the park has to offer.

For the nature enthusiast spend as little or as much time as you like exploring our hiking trails or maybe spend the night in our backcountry campsite.
