The Keweenaw National Historical Park Advisory Commission will convene for its regular quarterly meeting at 1:00pm on Tuesday, April 19 at park headquarters located on the corner of Red Jacket Road and Hwy. US-41 in Calumet. The meeting will include an update on the efforts and work of the Commission and the National Park Service during the last quarter. The meeting will also include updates about the Quincy Smelter and the Commission's 2016 Heritage Grant Program. The Keweenaw NHP AdvisoryCommission, paneled by citizens appointed by the Secretary of the Interior, represents the public and works collaboratively with the National Park Service to advise and assist with managing the resources of Keweenaw National Historical Park.
