Volunteering at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is a great way to help support your park and preserve a historic and natural treasure of the National Park Service. A variety of activities that are vital to the operation of Kennesaw Mountain are performed by volunteers. As a volunteer, you can do anything from greeting visitors at the visitor center, to clearing trails, to assisting in historic demonstrations. People of all ages can volunteer, those under the age of 18 must submit a parental approval form.

Opportunities for Kids
We encourage youth groups of all kinds to volunteer their time at Kennesaw Mountain.
A wide variety of projects are available for group volunteer activities, if you have a specific type of project in mind, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your groups needs.
Past projects include:
- Cleaning park signs
- Litter control
- Bench construction
- Trail maintenance
- Invasive plant removal
The Kennesaw Mountain Trail Club
KEMO Trail Corps is a volunteer organization designed to assist with trail maintenance at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield.
Workdays will tentatively be held the second Saturday of each month. Meet in the maintenance area at 8:30 am.
