William Knowles Woodwell (1830-1901)

William K. Woodwell, a prominent Pittsburgh business man, was the son of Joseph R. and Joanna Woodwell. His brother, Joseph R. Jr., was also a member of the South Fork Fishing and Hunting Club. William K. married Charlotte Anschutz.

He was employed with his brother in his father's firm, Joseph Woodwell & Co., a hardware company.

Woodwell was a philanthropist and member of the Point Breeze Presbyterian Church.

Woodwell died in New York.
