William Calvin "W.C." Taylor (1841-1894)

W.C. Taylor's name appears in the South Fork Fishing and Hunting Club Guest Register in 1886. According to his obituary he was one of the best known businessmen in Pittsburgh. Taylor was the owner of the Pittsburgh salt works and was involved up until his death at age 54. He served in the Hampton battery during the Civil War.

In 1894, Taylor died at his home in the West End.
