Harriet A. Byram Hussey was the wife of club member and cottage owner Christoper Curtis "C.C." Hussey. After the death of her husband in 1884, Mrs. Hussey was elected as a member to the South Fork Fishing and Hunting Club, making her the only female member. The Hussey family continued to use the cottage after Mr. Hussey's death. The cottage is still standing today and serves as a private residence.
