Concession Opportunities at Indiana Dunes National Park

PORTER, IN - Indiana Dunes National Park is looking for service providers for two competitive Commercial Use Authorizations (CUA) to provide concession services for visitors for calendar years 2023 and 2024.  In 2021 alone roughly 5 million visitors came to the park.    

The park is seeking applications from interested parties to compete for food & beverage and retail sales CUAs at either one or both the Portage Lakefront and Riverwalk and West Beach concession stands, both located in Portage, Indiana.  Separate applications must be submitted for both locations.    

A site visit is scheduled for both concession stands on March 3, 2023.  Portage Lakefront and Riverwalk will be open from 9:00am to 12:30pm followed by the West Beach bath house from 1:30pm to 5:00pm.  

There is a $250.00 nonrefundable fee to process the application.  The CUA will be valid from April 1^st, 2023 through December 31^st, 2024, and all approved service providers will be listed on the national park’s website as an authorized vendor.

Applications will be accepted during a designated ‘open season’ – beginning February 10, 2023 and ending March 08, 2023.  Application packages must be received no later than March 08, 2023 to be considered.
