Celebrate Independence Day at the birthplace of the nation! With a wide variety of events - from ceremonies to parades to walking tours - there is something to inspire, entertain, and inform everyone in your family.

Don't miss our ranger picks. On July 1, the ranger-led walking tour about John Adams at 12 noon is sure to intrigue you. Highlights for July 2 include a ranger talk on Fourth of July celebrations at 3pm. Families will enjoy the Officer's Candidate School program for kids, along with the Block Party, during the day on July 3. Everything is special on Independence Day, but what can top an old-fashioned parade?

Whether you choose to visit for one day, or for a week, there is plenty of action for history-lovers, music fans, and families of all ages.
