Harry Truman's wedding suit.

Receipt from Ted Marks, 1919.
"Shepard plaid" on the second line likely refers to Truman's wedding suit. Shepard's plaid (or shepard's check) was a precursor to houndstooth and the names may have been used interchangeably. The suit was purchased for $65.
