10th Anniversary CelebrationYear of event: 2025The year 2025 marked the 10th anniversary of Honouliuli National Historic Site being established as a unit of the National Park Service. To commemorate this milestone, the park hosted a year-long celebration that included a monthly rotation of virtual speakers, free movie screenings, a traveling pop-up exhibit, community tabling events, and new merchandise at partner Pacific Historic Parks' bookstore. The celebration was capped with a finale art exhibit at the Downtown Art Center in January of 2026 with a gallery of Honouliuli-inspired art pieces crafted by the community. From February to December, each month had a dedicated theme that was meant to give opportunities to the public to learn more about that component of Honouliuli Internment Camp, Honouliuli National Historic Site, or history related to the location.
