Joins Us for Our 80th Birthday Celebration!


Come celebrate Homestead National Monument of America's 80th Birthday on March, 19, 2016, with a day of FUN activities!

Get jazzed with the high energy music of Bathtub Dogs men's choir from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. See extreme Lego builders creating displays like the Nebraska State Capital, steam engines, a railroad coaling station and many more. Come eat birthday cakes built and decorated to look like the Freeman School and the Palmer-Epard Cabin! Try your hand with the Aksarben Amateur Radio Operators in communicating throughout the United States. Be a part of the debut of the Barn Quilt Quest webpage and learn how you can explore southeast Nebraska through these fascinating quilt squares.
