Hey teachers! Did you know archeology is a fun and engaging way to teach nearly any subject? Join us at Hopewell Culture National Historical Park to learn more about the science of archeology and how to use creative, hands-on techniques to bring the world of archeology into your classroom. This week-long workshop is designed specifically for teachers and combines classroom lectures, readings, field trips, archeological fieldwork, laboratory work, and hands-on learning activities. You’ll work side by side with park archeology and education staff, and you get to spend an entire week in your local National Park while earning contact hours or graduate credit!
No workshops are scheduled at this time. Check back for future opportunities.
