SEAC and Digital Media
The Southeast Archeoological Center (SEAC) is a unit of the National Park Service. It is made up of researchers and scientists looking to decipher clues from the past. SEAC faces a unique challenge in reaching the public as it is not a traditional park and has no visitor's center. SEAC, using digital media resources, has met this challenge and aims to fufill the National Park Service mission: "The National Park Service preserves unimpaired the natural and cultural resources and values of the national park system for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations. The Park Service cooperates with partners to extend the benefits of natural and cultural resource conservation and outdoor recreation throughout this country and the world." Fortunately, we live in the 21st century with a vast digital resource to conduct ditigal media public outreach and information display. SEAC has taken it upon itself to create this page to upload our most recent digital media works for the public. These resources are free to download and we encourage those who download them to share them on their social media platforms to greater enhance the scope of our audience and educate more people on our cultural resources in the Southeast Region of the National Park Service.
