Painter Diane Blair Kunzler will be the Artist-in-Residence at Herbert Hoover National Historic Site from July 19 to August 4. Ms. Kunzler will be available to interact with visitors while she works on-site Thursdays through Mondays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Her hours may vary so please call ahead.

Diane Blair Kunzler is from Glidden, Iowa, and has been featured in numerous art exhibits. She has a Master of Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Boston. Ms. Kunzler has explored Midwestern landscapes as a subject for her artwork for twenty years. "A residency at Herbert Hoover National Historic Site affords me the opportunity to explore an abundance of subjects of interest to me as an artist, and a unique opportunity to interact with people who visit the site," said Ms. Kunzler. "Art is so many times a solitary experience and I enjoy the casual interactions with people who are interested in the subjects I work with and the artistic process."

Diane Blair Kunzler will give a presentation on her work on Sunday, July 29 at 1:00 p.m. at the Herbert Hoover National Historic Site Visitor Center. The presentation will last one hour or more. She will also display her work during Hooverfest on Saturday, August 4.

Herbert Hoover National Historic Site and the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum are in West Branch, Iowa at exit 254 of I-80. Both are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time. Parking is limited so please allow extra time to find a parking space.
