Due to a leak in the main waterline in the Kīpahulu District of Haleakalā National Park there is no potable water in Kīpahulu for the foreseeable future. The leak was discovered on Wednesday during routine inspections. Visitors should bring their own drinking water and expect intermittent closures of the main restrooms, as crews work to repair the line. |
