Today's closures, September 2, 2016: 

The only closure at this time are the Pools of Ohe`o and all campgrounds in both the Summit and Kīpahulu districts.

Tonight's closures:

Haleakalā National Park, Summit District will be closing at 8:00 pm tonight, September 2, 2016 until further notice. This closure includes all backcountry areas and sunrise operations for the morning of Saturday, September 3, 2016. The park will re-open when it is safe to do so.
