Calling all Scouts!

Hamilton Grange National Memorial offers educational programs geared towards scouting groups and non-aligned scouting organizations. There are two programs to choose from:

Junior Ranger Tour

Scouts will work on the Hamilton Grange Junior Ranger booklet and will go on a ranger-led historic house tour. They will then be "officially" sworn-in as Junior Rangers and will receive their badges. The program begins at 1:00, and will last approximately 1 1/2 hours, ending around 2:30 p.m. Junior Ranger booklets may be obtained at the park, or may be downloaded in advance from our Junior Ranger page.

House and Grounds Tour

Scouts will go on a ranger-led historic house tour and will then walk the grounds with a park ranger to learn about the Hamiltons' original outbuildings and native trees on the property. The program begins at 1:00, and will last approximately 1 1/2 hours, ending around 2:30 p.m.

You can request a program by completing a form (228 KB, fillable) and faxing it to (646) 548-9366, or e-mailing it to hagr_info@nps.gov. Please note: Your booking is not guaranteed until you have received a confirmation e-mail from a Hamilton Grange ranger. At this time, the programs are only available on Saturdays and Sundays. Given the small size and historic nature of Alexander Hamilton's home, groups are limited to a maximum of 17-people, including chaperones.

For more information about the program, e-mail us.
