Invite a Ranger to your class
NPS Rangers may be available to come to your classroom and present curriculum-based programs to your students.
Rangers will help you meet your academic core needs. This is an excellent way for your kids to learn about life during the Pliocene epoch and fossils found now at the fossil beds through a fun hands-on experience.
Please Note: Classroom visits are typically scheduled during the middle part of the school year, November through March. Unfortunately, due to high visitation at the park from school groups in the spring, ranger visits to the classroom may not be available in April, May or June.
