Turn right onto Meade Street at the top of the ramp. Turn left on Marshall Drive, then follow the signs for the US Marine Corps War Memorial. From US 50 west, cross into Virginia on the Roosevelt Bridge and take the exit for Rosslyn and the Key Bridge. Turn left onto Meade Street at the top of the ramp. Turn left on Marshall Drive, then follow the signs for the US Marine Corps War Memorial. By MetroThe memorial is 0.6 mile walk from the Rosslyn Metro Station (blue/orange/silver lines) or a 0.8 mile walk from the Arlington National Cemetery Metro Station (blue line).ParkingBuses should load and unload in the inner lane around the memorial.The parking area is along the rear of the memorial’s circular access drive. Parking is free but limited to one hour.

NPS Things to DoFrom the memorial, you have a panoramic view of the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and Capitol Building.During the summer, the US Marine Corps holds Sunset Parades at the memorial on select Tuesdays. The Sunset Parades are a one-hour performance, featuring the music of "The Commandant's Own", the United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and precision drill by the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon. Nearby attractions include the Netherlands Carillon and Arlington House, the Robert E. Lee Memorial. NPS AccessibilityViewing the MemorialPaved pathways connect the parking area, bus drop-off area, the memorial plaza, and nearby restrooms. An asphalt path with interpretive signs circles the plaza. Visitors can reach the plaza using either ramps or stairs. Audio DescriptionInterpretive signs surround the memorial. The signs have solar-powered speakers. Touch the silver button to hear an audio description of the sign and the surrounding area.Braille and Hands-On ExperiencesSeveral signs include braille. Some also have raised features you can touch, such as a tactile map, a small model of the statue, and a raised illustration of the sculptor’s work.Service AnimalsService animals are welcome at the memorial. They are legally permitted anywhere that visitors can go. Service animals are individually trained to perform a specific task that assists a person with a disability.
