Most major amenities can be found within a short drive from the park. The Villiage of Great Falls, Virginia approx. 3 miles west from the park entrance has a grocery store, convenience stores, restuarants, banks, gas station, U.S. Post Office and an assortment of other businesses.

The bookstore in Great Falls Park is not open due to the closure of the Visitor Center building for pending repairs.
