WNP The park store is operated by Western National Parks (WNP), an official non-profit partner of the National Park Service dedicated to supporting the educational mission of Golden Spike National Historical Park. The park store has a wide range of books, educational games, and posters, and other items available for retail sale. These products complement the interpretive themes you experience when visiting the park. The park store is located at the visitor center, or you can visit the online park store. Courtesy of Harmon Li The Chinese Railroad Workers Descendants Association (CRWDA) is a national, membership-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2017 to honor and safeguard the contributions of Chinese railroad workers to the United States. Through educational and philanthropic initiatives, the Association supports academic research, historic preservation, and artistic endeavors that foster a deeper understanding of the experiences, resilience, achievements, and enduring impact of Chinese and Chinese Americans on the nation. NPS Photo The Hibernian Society of Utah fosters community through education and the celebration of Irish culture and tradition. Its mission includes charitable giving, community involvement. During the 19th century, Irish workers were among those who helped build railroads across the American West. Their work supported the growth of Utah’s communities and helped connect the nation. The Society honors this history as part of its broader effort to recognize Irish heritage and contribution.
NPS Photo In 2019, Spike 150 created the Golden Spike Foundation which partnered with local groups, state ambassadors, and the National Park Service to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the transcontinental railroad. Partnering to form a legacy, committed to creating public pieces of art that inspire the public to learn and explore history. Spike150 also supports public education curriculum enhancing the opportunity for youth to learn about the untold stories of the transcontinental railroad.
