Join a park ranger or volunteer to explore the many stories that the historic forts and the landscape tell about Governors Island.

Castle tours are scheduled, Wed. thru Sun. The times for Memorial Day weekend are 10:30, 12pm, 2PM & 3PM. Beginning May 28, 2025 the schedule will be 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Go to recreation.gov(see the link below) to reserve a spot. Fort Jay tours will be coming in June. Please check back here for updates and changes. Also check recreation.gov/
