Description

Select a book for a park ranger to read and then explore its real-life
battlefield setting. The Eternal Soldier (a true story about a dog) and
Oak Ridge; B is for Battle Cry and The Angle; I Am Abraham Lincoln
and the site of the Gettysburg Address.

One-hour or two books in two hours. Reading(s) can be done indoors.

Goal

Join a park educator in exploring pieces of the battle through storybooks and literature. Understand the battle from a different perspective, through the lens of one of several books for young readers.
