Bring your student and lead them with your own education programming
Teacher-guided, self-service educational visits of the Mausoleum are available anytime the site is open: from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in the Mausoleum, and 9 am to 5pm in the visitor center (maximum group size is limited to 30 at a time in the visitor center). With this option, no prior reservations or appointments are needed.
Let a National Park Service Ranger conduct an education program for your school group
If you would like to have a National Park Service Ranger conduct one of our education programs, we are available between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Wednesday to Sunday. Ranger programs typically last one hour, and are split into two parts with students watching the park film in the visitor center, and then getting a tour of the mausoleum and front plaza area. If your group is over 30 but less than 60, please arrange to have your students split into two groups. Total group size for ranger-guided education programming is limited to 60 people, including adult chaperones.
We request a 10-business day advanced notice to make sure we have staffing scheduled to accomodate your group.
To reserve your time slot, please submit your request via a completed Tour Reservation Form to our Education Coordinator at GEGR_info@nps.gov or e-mail us
Please email GEGR_info@nps.gov or call the Education Coordiator at (646) 670-7251 if you have any questions or special requests.
