#OptOutside Black Friday Shoreline Cleanup
Friday, Nov. 29 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Join the National Park Service, Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy, American Littoral Society and NYC Audubon as we host Leave No Trace and REI for a #OptOutside Black Friday Shoreline cleanup. All ages are welcome. Please RSVP at www.jbrpc.org/events or call 347-690-0931.
Lighthouse Tours at Sandy Hook
Friday, Nov. 29 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Lighthouse tours are available from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. You can sign up for tours in the Keeper’s Quarters. The Sandy Hook Lighthouse is the oldest continuously operating lighthouse in the United States.
Fort Wadsworth Visitor Center
Friday, Nov. 29 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
The Fort Wadsworth Visitor Center is open from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Learn about New York’s harbor defense system in the nineteenth century and beyond.
