Staten Island, NY—Do you like dinosaurs? Do you like learning about old things? Come to Fort Wadsworth on Saturday, December 29, 2018 to learn about what an archaeologist does, from a real archaeologist. You also will have a chance to dig for “finds” in sand and learn how the age of these found items can be determined.
The program begins at 2 pm.
David Klingle, Ph.D. received his doctorate in archaeology from Queens College, Cambridge. He currently teaches osteology at Cambridge University. He has participated in archaeology digs around the world, and has presented archaeology programs to kids in the U.K. and here in the U.S.
