Permits & Reservations

Permits

Film and photography permits follow the guidlines of the National Capital Area and you can find more information on their website. For specific questions, please call the National Captial Parks-East permits office at 202-690-5152.

Reservations

Reservations are required for group tours (11-60 people). Call 1-877-559-6777 at least one week in advance of your group's visit to make a reservation.

If you are visiting on your own or with a group of fewer than ten people, reservations are not required, but they are strongly encouraged. Space on each tour is limited; a reservation will guarantee you get on the tour. Visit recreation.gov or call 1-877-444-6777 to reserve tickets at least one day in advance.

There is a $1.00 reservation fee for each reserved ticket. School groups pay a flat fee of $10.00.
