The history of the fort is just a click away. Fort Foote is a part of the Civil War Defenses of Washington.
The park is open during daylight hours. The park gate is opened at 9:00 am and closed at sunset. There are no visitor facitilies on the grounds. Information is available at Fort Washington Park, 301-763-4600. |
