Archives

Archives – including historic documents and photographs, archaeological documentation, and documentation of the park’s history – are crucial to understanding the past. Archival collections at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site include items like photographs from soldiers’ service at Vancouver Barracks, letters written by Dr. John McLoughlin and his family, and postcards sent to and from Vancouver Barracks and Pearson Field.
