  Alert 1 , Severity ,information ,, Fort Moultrie Visitor Center Winter Closure at 4:00 PM Beginning December 1, 2018, the Fort Moultrie Visitor Center will close daily at 4:00 pm. The fort and grounds remain open daily until 5:00 pm. We will advise the public when this seasonal early closure ends, and our hours return to normal.

• Liberty Square Visitor Education Center Elevator Out of Order

  Alert 2 , Severity ,information ,, Liberty Square Visitor Education Center Elevator Out of Order The elevator at Liberty Square Visitor Education Center, our downtown Charleston location, is currently out of order. The building can be accessed by a ramp towards the back of the building or by the stairs in front.

• No Elevator Service at Fort Sumter

  Alert 3 , Severity ,information ,, No Elevator Service at Fort Sumter The museum, restrooms, museum store and top level of Fort Sumter are only accessible by climbing stairs. For more information visit the link below or call 843-883-3123.
