National Park Week, April 16-24, will focus on Healthy Parks, Healthy People and highlight the many ways that national parks contribute to the overall well-being of people and the planet. After lunch and the movie, visitor are also encouraged to take in some fresh air by walking the path around the reconstructed fort, reading the wayside signs, and learning a little about what went on outside the walls of the fort during the American Revolution. Our popular “Junior Ranger” program booklet will be available as well to encourage young folks to visit the fort and learn the stories it has to tell. Fort Stanwix National Monument is open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission to the park is free. Activities are ongoing unless noted.
