Who was the REAL George Washington? Did he really chop down a cherry tree and just when is his birthday? Join the Backyard Ranger on Saturday, February 21, from 10 to 11:30 am and 1:30 to 3 pm, and meet the man behind the myth that we know today.

Visit the park for this special program celebrating President's Day. You will learn why it is a holiday and the people it honors. Discover the real story behind the Father of Our Country's life and childhood while you sing, dance, become a history detective, and have fun!
 

Back Yard Rangers is part of the Family Fun at the Fort series. You can join the next Backyard Rangers on April 18, 2015, to celebrate Earth Day. There is no cost and no reservations are necessary.
