Flags over Fort Pulaski

Want to own a piece of history? Fort Pulaski National Monument now offers visitors the opportunity to purchase flags that have flown over historic Fort Pulaski. The flags, offered through Eastern National Bookstore, come with a certificate of authenticity. Flags range in price from $30-$70 depending on style of flag. Flags offered at this time include:

 

The First National Flag of the Confederate States of America, or the "Stars and Bars," originally flew over Fort Pulaski from 1861-1862.

 

The Thirty-Five Star American Flag became the official United States Flag on July 4th, 1863. This flag would have flown over Fort Pulaski from 1863-1865.

 

The Fifty Star American Flag became the offical flag on July 4th, 1960. This flag continues to fly over Fort Pulaski daily.
