Basic Information

The National Park Service (NPS) and Fort Monroe Authority (FMA) manage Fort Monroe National Monument. The monument is open year-round for outdoor activities. FMA leases many of the historic buildings to private residents. Respect the residents' privacy— do not open their gates or look in their windows.
