Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, snacks and good energy. Come early to grab your spot. Everyone is welcome, and the National Park Service staff is here to help you enjoy your visit.

The Fort Dupont Park Summer Event Series is more than just music— it’s about belonging. Since 1972, this celebration has connected generations of Washingtonians and visitors from afar through shared stories, soulful sounds and public lands that are open to all.
From picnic blankets to dance circles, from first timers to longtime fans, this is a space where everyone can feel joyful and free.
