WASHINGTON—Join the National Park Service for evenings filled with family-fun and FREE live music at the Fort Dupont Park Summer Event Series. The 50th Anniversary season kicked-off on Saturday, July 30 with performances from Sirius Company, Be’La Dona, The Soul Searchers and DJ Rico. The Summer Event Series continues starting August 13.
“The National Park Service is honored and excited to celebrate 50 years of music and gathering with community, friends and family for summer concerts in Fort Dupont Park,” Tara D. Morrison, Superintendent for National Capital Parks-East, said. “Our lineup this year includes music that recalls the early days of the Fort Dupont concerts, as well as performers joining us for the first time.”

These free, public events, hosted live at Fort Dupont’s outdoor amphitheater, are an annual celebration that invite Washington metropolitan area residents across generations to enjoy incredible music from national, regional and local artists. The National Park Service continues to honor the series’ tradition of bringing people together for culture, community and connection.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and live performances begin at 7 p.m. for all concerts. Tickets are not required.
Fort Dupont Park’s amphitheater is located at 3600 F Street, SE Washington, DC 20019.
You are invited to bring family and friends, lawn chairs, blankets and food. Grills, glass bottles, and alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the park. Coolers larger than 29.5”x 16” x 19” are not permitted.

Can’t make it to the festival? Fort Dupont Park is open year-round and offers opportunities for all ages and interests including birding, wildlife viewing, photography, picnics and volunteering.
