~ Media Credentialing Requests Due by September 9 ~

WHAT: September 11th Observance The fifteenth September 11th observance will start at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, September 11. This start time was chosen to commemorate the time period during which the passengers and crew took action on the plane to thwart the terrorists.
Sunday, September 11, 2016 · Media Set-up Begins: 7 a.m. · Ceremony Begins: 9:45 a.m. All media must be set-up and in place by 8:45 a.m. on Sunday, September 11. (Outlets with live broadcasts the morning of September 11 will have access earlier than 7 a.m.; details will follow in future advisories).

Event credentials issued by the National Park Service are required to obtain access to any of the designated media areas, including parking and coverage areas for the ceremonies. Credentialed members of the media interested in covering the event must RSVP here by Friday, September 9 at 6 pm EDT.
